Coenzyme Q10 or (CoQ10) is an antioxidant that occurs naturally in the body. CoQ10 is involved in the making of ATP. ATP is the main source of fuel for human cells, and helps to propel several biological processes like muscle contraction and protein production. For athletes this increase in ATP can help with endurance for higher workout intensity. CoQ10 can also help with fat burning and weight loss as it speeds the metabolism. Your body produces healthy levels of CoQ10 up until around age 30, when levels start to decrease.

Antioxidants like CoQ10 are good to help prevent the damage caused by free radicals, and can help slow the aging process.
